Job Overview

As a Transport Compliance Officer, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in communication, problem-solving, empathy, and conflict resolution to help thousands of people every day.

This role involves working as part of a team delivering compliance activities to enforce relevant legislation within the point-to-point transport industry. You will work with stakeholders to ensure compliance and implement compliance activity plans in partnership with other enforcement agencies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting inspections to ensure adherence to the Point to Point Transport (Taxis and Hire Vehicles) Act 2016.
  • Issuing penalty infringement notices and compliance notices as authorized by the Senior Inspector.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent stakeholder management and strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders. They will also have experience working in regulatory or compliance environments, ideally in a government organization or the transport industry.

This is a full-time temporary fixed-term opportunity, and successful applicants will be required to work in the Dubbo region with opportunities for travel throughout NSW.

Required Skills and Qualifications
