Business Development Executive - B2B Acceptance
Overview:
The Commercial Solutions & New Payment Flows division is hiring for a key role in B2B acceptance to support the rapid growth and expansion of existing and new commercial payment flows. B2B Acceptance is a critical enabler of commercial payments. This role will play a vital part in developing the market strategy and focusing on execution and supplier acquisition for commercial payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing strategies to foster an optimal acceptance environment through data analytics and understanding market requirements.
- Providing thought leadership on commercial card acceptance processes and challenges.
- Collaborating with internal and external partners to understand business needs and adapting strategies to local market conditions.
- Hunting, developing, expanding, and deepening relationships with top B2B suppliers to position Mastercard as the preferred payment method for commercial transactions.
- Selling acceptance products and managing key market acceptance partnerships, solutions, and enablers to increase commercial payment volume.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of acceptance and commercial card payments.
- Deep understanding of the local payment ecosystem and key players.
- Extensive experience in a commercial payments environment, including direct interaction with corporate buyers and suppliers.
- Proven success in achieving sales goals consistently.
- Strong executive presence and stakeholder influence skills.
- Strategic and creative mindset with the ability to build mutually beneficial deals across multiple parties.
