Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will provide assistance to elderly clients living at home, promoting their independence and choice. Your duties will include assisting with domestic tasks, meal preparation, social support, and personal care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with domestic duties and household chores
  • Prepare and cook meals for clients
  • Provide social support and encourage engagement in social activities
  • Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide transportation for clients to appointments, shopping, and social outings
  • Offer respite care to give carers a break
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Support Worker in Home Care or Disability
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home, and Community) desirable
  • Valid NSW Drivers Licence
  • Reliable vehicle for transporting clients
  • Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Vaccinated against Covid and Flu
  • Basic computer and smartphone working knowledge
