Job Opportunity: Home Care Support Worker

Australian Unity is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering in-home support services to our aged care customers, empowering them to live independently and safely in their own homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to customers, including assistance with daily living activities, transportation, and social outings.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and their families, conducting regular observations and providing ongoing support and training.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and policies to ensure the well-being of customers and staff.
Requirements:
  • Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday and Friday.
  • Full vaccination for COVID-19 with a minimum of two doses.
  • Proficiency in an additional language is valued but not mandatory.
We Welcome:
  • Experienced Support Workers or those new to the industry with a background in customer service, administration, retail, or hospitality.
  • Applicants with a qualification in Disability Support, Community Services, Mental Health, or a related field.
