Job Title: Home Care Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Home Care Worker to join our team at Prospero Health & Social Care. As a Home Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Observe clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to registered nurses or healthcare professionals.
  • Help clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to maintain their independence and safety.
  • Assist clients with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper hydration.
  • Provide emotional support, companionship, and engage clients in recreational activities to promote their well-being and quality of life.
Requirements:
  • Certificate 3 in Individual Support is an advantage.
  • Working rights are required.
  • Willing to commit to a part-time contract position, which is ongoing.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
  • Police check.
  • Must be vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated (Flu vaccine and COVID).
  • Must own a car, driver's license, and comprehensive insurance.
  • Experience in personal care.
