The Role

We are seeking an experienced Individual Giving Manager to join our team in this critical role. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our single giving strategy, including direct mail appeals, gift-in-will campaigns, and new donor acquisition programs.

  • Develop and manage integrated fundraising campaigns, leveraging data-driven insights to drive income growth and efficiency.
  • Create engaging supporter journeys to maximize donor commitment and loyalty.
  • Design and implement sophisticated, donor-driven content, products, and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with our global team to develop and execute strategic fundraising plans.
Key Responsibilities

As an Individual Giving Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Project managing and leading the creation of all direct mail campaigns, including briefing copywriters, designers, and mail houses.
  2. Reviewing and documenting post-campaign evaluation results, identifying opportunities for growth.
  3. Working closely with our Global Head of Marketing, Fundraising, and Communications to develop the strategic direction of direct mail appeals, gift-in-will appeals, and donor retention activities.
  4. Identifying and testing new channels for cash acquisition and fundraising growth.
  5. Collaborating with our team to test, evaluate, and continuously improve supporter journeys and maximize acquisition and retention opportunities.
Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Relevant qualifications in marketing or fundraising, with experience in direct mail campaign management and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated experience working in multi-channel fundraising within single-giving portfolios.
  • Proven ability to coordinate fundraising activities and successfully manage end-to-end direct mail campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to establish and deliver outcomes on projects, within budget and timelines.
Estimated Salary: AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum

This estimate is based on national averages and industry standards. The actual salary may vary depending on factors such as location, experience, and performance.
