Contract and Procurement Specialist

Our team seeks a skilled Contract and Procurement Specialist to develop and implement contracting strategies aligned with company principles and market intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop contracting strategies that align with our business objectives.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to create scopes and mitigate commercial risks.
  • Negotiate, finalise and prepare contracts for execution.
  • Lead tender development, bid evaluation and supplier selection.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts and variations.
  • Support the development of Contract & Procurement processes and systems.
  • Ensure accurate records in contract management systems to maintain compliance.
  • Provide advice on procurement timelines and contract obligations.
  • Manage service providers effectively.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least 10 years' experience in Oil & Gas Procurement and Contracts.
  • Proven experience developing Contract and Procurement systems and processes.
  • Experience in Drilling and Completions services scope development, supplier qualification, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, contract finalisation, award and administration.
  • Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills across technical and commercial teams.
