Development Manager Opportunity

We're seeking an ambitious Development Manager to join our team and help bring exciting projects to life. As a key member of our development team, you'll work closely with Senior Managers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects on time, on budget, and aligned with our vision.

Job Description

This is an ideal role for someone early in their property career who's ready to contribute meaningfully and build commercial and delivery experience in a high-growth environment.

  • Support the successful delivery of development projects from design to delivery, ensuring profitability and performance targets are met
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting, feasibility modelling, budgeting, financial reporting, and risk mitigation
  • Manage project approvals, coordinate contracts, and track project milestones
  • Use Estate Master (or similar) to support feasibility analysis and reporting
  • Collaborate across teams: Finance, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to ensure alignment and value creation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Property Development, Construction, Commerce, or a related field
  • Practical experience in property development or a closely aligned industry; experience in retirement living or residential communities will be highly regarded
  • Strong analytical and financial literacy - including budgeting, reporting, and risk assessment
  • Proficiency in (or willingness to learn) Estate Master or similar feasibility software
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
