Job Opportunity:

The Property Portfolio Officer role is a 5-month contract position based in Parramatta, requiring an individual to work 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver vital property services utilizing experience in building, complex construction or project management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, customers, stakeholders and external service providers to ensure a smooth property construction process.
  • Coordinate construction, modification, major renovations and/or repairs and maintenance of client residences.
  • Attend to specialist enquiries and assist customers with limited property knowledge.
  • Manage work outputs, competing demands/priorities to generate favourable outcomes for clients/stakeholders.
  • Identify areas of risk and ensure measures are taken to mitigate risk in consultation with relevant parties.
  • Perform administration duties using Microsoft Office, TRIM and other internal client databases.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in residential building/project management and capacity to interpret and provide advice on residential building plans and specifications.
  • Capacity to manage external service providers in the construction, renovation and repairs of properties.
  • Ability to multitask and manage a high volume caseload of complex renovation and construction projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in building, complex construction/project management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of Australian building standards and the National Construction Code.
  • NSW builders' licence.
