We seek an experienced and skilled professional to lead our payroll team.
About the Role:- Manage a team responsible for processing payrolls for 3,500+ employees.
- Implement and maintain a new platform, including integrations with Human Force for rostering, time and attendance data.
- Develop and implement payroll governance improvements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide management reporting to the board, including financial reporting and integration with other systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate payroll processes to deliver a return on investment.
- Understand systems integration with the payroll platform, including Human Force and other People systems.
- Run and maintain the platform, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Work closely with the Finance team to deliver payroll financial reporting and integration.
Requirements:
- Experience in payroll management, preferably with a large casual workforce.
- Leadership experience of a payroll function with a fortnightly payroll of around 2,900 people.
- Exposure to award provisions for casual employees.
- Demonstrated success in payroll business process improvement.
