Job Title

An Intermediate Accountant will play an integral part in enabling the company's next phase of growth.

  • Key responsibilities include collaborating with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed on time, preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs, as well as preparing BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG for various companies and trusts.
Position Responsibilities
  • Assist Partners and team members in completing client projects efficiently.
  • Lead the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for diverse clients.
  • Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations.
  • Receive direct coaching from experienced Partners to manage a portfolio of clients.
  • Communicate with statutory authorities on behalf of clients.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients.
  • Participate in training seminars, team meetings, and social events.
  • Support and train junior team members.
About You
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a Chartered Accounting Practice or CPA Firm.
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individual.
