**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist you'll be the heart of keeping our finances running smoothly. From reconciling vendor accounts to ensuring daily transactions are processed accurately and on time, your eye for detail will make a big impact. You'll help bring aged accounts back on track and work closely with both our valued suppliers and out internal teams to build strong, trusted relationships.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Reporting to the Transactions Services Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Processing and coding of invoices
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Liaising with suppliers to resolve any payment queries
- Ensuring timely payment of invoices
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures
**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- Proven experience in high-volume and multi-site Accounts Payable functions
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex financial data and overlapping priorities whilst maintaining accuracy
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices
- Confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service mindset and the ability to build and maintain positive supplier relationships
- Confidence working both independently and as a part of a broader team, collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Resilience under pressure, with the ability to priorities tasks, manage deadlines and adapt to changing demands
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn and adopt new systems and tools
