Job Opportunity

This is an ongoing opportunity to work as a Lawyer in the Digital & Platforms team. You will be supported to grow your legal expertise to provide legal advice across diverse areas including ICT and digital strategies, cloud service delivery, cyber security, government platforms, digital transformation initiatives, artificial intelligence and data and information access.

  • You will report to one of our Managing Lawyers and collaborate with other lawyers in the team to provide strategic, pragmatic, focused and accountable specialist legal advice and services.
  • You will support commercial negotiations to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements and successful delivery of outcomes for projects.
  • You will draft a range of documents and agreements including for software acquisition/licensing, product development and intellectual property in information technology, digital transformation, and cloud service delivery.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of ICT and digital law, including experience in areas such as digital and technology law, corporate and commercial law, intellectual property (IP) law and privacy law.
  • Proven stakeholder management, interpersonal and communication capability with an ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical ability, lateral thinking and problem-solving skills including an ability to apply legal principles in a practical way.
