Job Title: Digital Lawyer

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Digital Lawyer. As a key member of the Digital & Platforms team, you will play a crucial role in providing legal advice and support across a range of ICT, digital, and commercial areas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of providing strategic, pragmatic, focused, and accountable specialist legal advice and services. You will also have experience in drafting a range of documents and agreements, including software acquisition/licensing, product development, and intellectual property.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You are admitted as a legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and hold or, are eligible to hold a current practising certificate as a solicitor.
  • You have a minimum of 1 year of relevant post-qualification experience in one or more of the following areas: Digital and Technology law, Corporate and Commercial law, Intellectual Property (IP) law, and Privacy law.
  • You possess strong analytical ability, lateral thinking, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to apply legal principles in a practical way.
