Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to play a key role in shaping and supporting whole-of-government industrial relations strategies.

The Senior Associate will provide high-quality, timely, and strategic advice on bargaining and industrial relations issues that directly influence government priorities and organizational outcomes.

You will analyze complex industrial matters, identify risks and opportunities, and develop practical solutions that deliver positive results across the public sector.

  • Strong knowledge of industrial relations frameworks, including legislation and industrial instruments.
  • Ability to provide high-quality, timely advice on complex bargaining and industrial issues that align with government priorities.
  • A proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities and developing solutions to mitigate risks and achieve outcomes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and informative reports and briefs.
  • Strong skills in building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the public sector.
Key ResponsibilitiesBargaining Strategy

Develop and implement effective bargaining strategies that align with government priorities and optimize organizational outcomes.

Industrial Relations

Provide expert advice on industrial relations matters, including negotiations, disputes, and policy development.

Stakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and community groups.

Knowledge Management

Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of industrial relations policies, procedures, and agreements.
