Senior Manager – Industrial Relations Coordination

The NSW Government seeks a Senior Manager – Industrial Relations Coordination to lead the development and implementation of industrial relations strategies across various government agencies.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to leverage their expertise in workforce management, employee engagement, and collective bargaining to drive positive change within the public sector.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive industrial relations strategies to support agency relationships and improve workforce outcomes.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across government agencies and external organizations to advance industrial relations objectives.
  • Analyze data and research findings to inform strategic decisions and policy recommendations.
  • Lead high-performing teams to deliver exceptional results and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of industrial relations principles and practices. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial relations, workforce management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective industrial relations strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
