Known for its focus on innovation, collaboration, and sustainability, it offers long-term career opportunities in a highly professional and supportive environment.Job DescriptionThe Senior Industrial Relations (IR) Partner is responsible for leading all Industrial and Employee Relations (IR / ER) matters across Australia & New Zealand.The position holder will be responsible for Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) negotiations and interpretations; representing the organisation against industrial action, Fair Work hearings; disciplinary measures; as well as collective and individual agreement matters.
Reporting directly to the VP HR & Workplace, the Senior IR Partner works in accordance and compliance with all processes, systems, and tools set by the VP HR & Workplace to enable service delivery excellence whilst ensuring strict compliance with company and regulatory requirements in all areas of Employee Relations and Industrial Relations.Primary ResponsibilitiesAct as the key Industrial Relations lead for all IR / ER matters across the organisation, managing various cases and activities while supporting stakeholders in case management.Support leaders with workplace investigations and provide high-level advice on people matters.Review and maintain the IR framework in collaboration with the VP HR & Workplace.Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, monitoring legislative changes.Provide timely advice on legislation interpretation and application to business leaders and HR teams.Update stakeholders on legislative changes.Participate in Disciplinary Committee matters as required.Support HR operational teams to meet KPIs related to ER / IR.Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.Contribute to IR process understanding and accountability across the business.Regularly review and update organisational policies and procedures for compliance.Support key HR projects and contribute to HR & Workplace strategy.Attend workshops and contribute to management objectives and team MBOs.The Successful ApplicantMinimum 5 years' experience in Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, Legal, or similar roles.Experience as a HRBP or equivalent role.Strong knowledge of current employment legislation and emerging issues.Experience implementing and maintaining IR frameworks.Proven negotiation skills for EBAs in complex organisations.People management experience and leadership skills.Ability to guide and coach HR and business leaders through complex ER / IR processes.Experience developing HR policies and tools supporting business needs.Solid understanding of legislation, standards, and best practices.Knowledge of award interpretation and application.What's on OfferSalary range: $160,000 to $175,000 + super.Location: Sydney.Hybrid working model: 3-4 days in-office, 1-2 days remote.
