Lead Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Mental Health Clinician to join our dedicated team.
As a Senior Psychologist, you will contribute by assessing client needs, identifying and mitigating psychological barriers to goal attainment, utilizing various modalities and techniques.
You will provide and receive regular supervision, support from the whole team, and have access to a range of professional development activities.
To be Successful in this Role, you will have:
- Demonstrated ability to liaise and consult with clients, carers, professionals, and community agencies as an independent clinician.
- Demonstrated highly effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, including negotiation, conflict resolution, and creativity in problem-solving.
- Demonstrated developed reporting skills, including the ability to write reports, professional articles, and submissions.
- Consolidated skills and experience in supervising professional staff, promoting professional competence, and fostering individual staff development.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated flexible approach.
- Knowledge of and participation in continuous quality improvement processes.
- Commitment to clinical research.
- Commitment to continuing professional development.
- Experience in public mental health settings, particularly working with diverse patient populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, and other culturally and linguistically diverse communities, providing gender-sensitive services.
- Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to generate strategies for prioritizing workloads effectively.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in managing teams and developing strategic plans. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
