About the Role

This is a permanent position in which you will be exposed to a diverse range of patient conditions, including paediatric and adult clients. Your responsibilities will include assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders, design and implementation of low-tech and high-tech communication devices, and development and implementation of treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders
  • Design and implementation of low-tech and high-tech communication devices
  • Development and implementation of treatment plans
  • Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties
  • Collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team to support the therapy needs of NDIS participants
  • Supervision is an integral part of this role

Requirements
  • Degree in Speech Pathology and registration with SPA
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills and clear report writing skills
  • Current driver's license and own vehicle are essential
  • Current Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • New graduates with good clinical experience are welcome to apply
