About the Role

This is a permanent position in which you will be exposed to a diverse range of patient conditions, including paediatric and adult clients. Your responsibilities will include assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders, design and implementation of low-tech and high-tech communication devices, and development and implementation of treatment plans. You will also be responsible for assessing and managing swallowing difficulties and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support the therapy needs of NDIS participants. Supervision is an integral part of this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders
  • Design and implementation of low-tech and high-tech communication devices
  • Development and implementation of treatment plans
  • Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties
  • Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to support NDIS participants
Requirements
  • Degree in Speech Pathology and registration with SPA
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills and clear report writing skills
  • Current driver's license and own vehicle
  • Current Police Check and Working with Children Check
