This role requires you to undertake engineering/design/drafting tasks in order to meet client requirements for the documentation of various structural design projects including hospitals, schools, hotels and various other social infrastructure projects.

You will be responsible for preparing professional reports/technical documents recording/summarising designs and maintaining your own professional skill set in line with market/industry standards through training and knowledge building exercises both as provided by us and pursued independently.

We use a combination of standard and modified design and drafting methods/techniques in order to solve problems including the use of Computer Aided Drawing (CAD), modelling and analysis software.

In this role, you will also provide progress information to supervisors and colleagues to allow accurate reporting of progress.

We are looking for individuals with previous Revit Experience and knowledge or awareness of a range of other modelling and coordination programs, (ACAD, Rhino, BIM360, Revizto, Navisworks etc). You should have a desire to excel and widen experience in Structural engineering skills & programming (C++, Java (J2EE), XML, Python) etc. Additionally, you should be able to work under pressure and foster team spirit.

Apart from that, you should have reinforced concrete and steel experience on any type of project and be currently enrolled at TAFE completing your second or third year of relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering (Associate Degree in Civil Engineering) or BIM modelling.
