Established small structural consultancy based in Sydney.

Our office is seeking to appoint for immediate start, an Engineer with 4 + years of local experience in the design & documentation of Structural Engineering

Primary role for the Engineer is to carry out structural design along with participating in all aspects of working for a consultancy firm – Responsible for design and documentation/ Instructing Draftsman. Site inspections /report writing etc subject to Candidates capabilitys/Desires .

Projects including:

  • New housing (Predominantly luxury houses, up to 20 million)
  • Retaining/shoring structures
  • Renovations

We seek an individual with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from an Australian University
  • Experience in residential structural design and documentation of steel, concrete, timber, masonry, retaining walls and pools.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant Australian standards
  • Drive to improve
  • Positive work attitude
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Experience in architectural/luxury housing.
