Community Care Performance and Strategy Lead Position

This is an opportunity to take on a leadership role in our Community Care team, overseeing the development and implementation of strategies that support vulnerable residents.

The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of current trends and issues affecting our community, as well as experience in project management, contract management, and financial planning. They will be able to provide strategic direction, manage risks, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Key responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating support for business/data management systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic planning.
  • Coordinate, audit, and mitigate risks to the organization for effective delivery of contracts and service agreements under Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) services.

This is a full-time permanent position based at Knox Civic Centre. We offer flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs are met.

Remuneration will be up to $124,189.64 per annum plus superannuation in accordance with Superannuation Guarantee provisions.

What You Will Bring To This Role
  • Sound knowledge of current trends and issues regarding our more vulnerable residents, CHSP, the Aged Care Quality Standards, and the broader Aged Care Service System including the My Aged Care portal.
  • Awareness and understanding of implications of the Commonwealth Aged Care reforms.
  • Demonstrated project management, contract management, resource management, and research skills.
  • Well-developed financial, audit, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • High-level skills and experience in extracting and reporting on statistical data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in relation to the preparation of written reports.
  • Experience in implementing continuous improvement practices within a service delivery setting and utilization of a wide range of information technology operated by the organization and regulatory sectors.
  • Experience in working with contract or funding and service agreements and managing compliance of contracts/agreements.
