Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a Country Approval and Contract Specialist role. This position involves providing site selection support for awarded multi-service projects and acting as the key contact at the country level for ethical or regulatory submission-related activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Site Selection Support: Provide support for site selection of awarded multi-service projects
  • Country Coordination: Coordinate with internal functional departments to ensure alignment of site start-up activities with submissions activities and mutually agreed upon timelines
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate and finalize site contracts and budgets as necessary
  • Site Contact and Documentation: Maintain regular site contact during the start-up phase and document all communications in CTMS
  • Agreement Drafting, Review, and Finalization: Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize agreements with study sites in accordance with local/accepted process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification
  • Previous Experience: Possess previous experience that provides knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 1 to 2 years')
  • Australian or New Zealand Site Knowledge: Having Australian or New Zealand site knowledge is advantageous

  • Budget Negotiation: Have a general understanding of budget negotiations within Australia
  • Contract and Indemnification Requirements: Possess basic understanding of contract and indemnification requirements for Australia
  • Effective Communication: Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Attention to Detail: Show strong attention to detail and quality of documentation
  • Negotiation Skills: Possess good negotiation skills
  • Regional/National Regulatory Guidelines: Have basic knowledge of all applicable regional/national country regulatory guidelines and EC regulations
