Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Manager to lead our commercial and residential projects in Australia.

About the Role

As a Senior Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing the development process from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.

You will work closely with our development team to conceptualize development design requirements, formulate design briefs, and manage the development of design concepts/options.

In addition, you will liaise with relevant authorities for approval of projects, manage tender and award processes, and administer agreements with design consultants and contractors.

Your primary objective will be to ensure the successful delivery of our commercial and residential projects, meeting the regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the development process from inception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Work closely with the development team to develop design concepts/options and manage design consultants.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities to obtain approvals for projects.
  • Manage tender and award processes for construction and contract administration.
  • Administer agreements with design consultants and contractors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
Requirements
  • Relevant development or project management experience in commercial and residential projects is highly desirable.
  • Possess high-level independence, cultural sensitivity, endurance, and adaptability, demonstrating excellent leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 software is essential, with experience in SAP, Ariba, and Aconex being an advantage.
Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 AUD, depending on experience.
