About the Role

This challenging and rewarding maternity leave replacement position offers an exciting opportunity to take Australia's number 1 home builder's drafting and visualisation functions to the next level. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing REVIT support to drafting personnel across the entire organisation, developing and maintaining the Revit CAD system, and ensuring that drafting outputs meet Metricon business policies and building regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide REVIT support to drafting personnel across the entire organisation
  • Develop and maintain the Revit CAD system to enable organisational growth, efficiency, and flexibility
  • Maintain and enhance the Revit CAD system to optimise speed and accuracy across all drafting units, including Product Development & Production
  • Develop and maintain ongoing integration of Revit with Sales and Marketing functions to enhance customer experience
  • Continual development of Revit and its application across the business to further enhance Metricon's position as #1
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to incorporate required needs and resources to relevant systems
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A high-level understanding of Revit and its integration in a BIM environment
  • A desire to take Australia's number 1 home builder's drafting and visualisation functions to the next level
  • The ability to train and develop peers in Revit
  • 5+ years using REVIT in a drafting role, preferably within the volume home building industry
  • A qualification in Building Design & Drafting or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of the building and construction process
  • High ability to interpret, understand, and communicate working drawings together with construction detail drawings
  • Superior skills and experience with Revit drafting program and systems
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organised – ability to multi-task and deal with a variety of activities
  • Working knowledge of building and construction
