We are seeking highly skilled Consultant/Specialist Anaesthetists to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality anaesthetic services.
About the Role- Expert anaesthetic care across various clinical settings including elective and emergency surgeries.
- Participation in perioperative planning and patient optimization for optimal outcomes.
- Supervision and mentorship of junior doctors, including registrars and medical officers, to ensure excellence in anaesthesia delivery.
- Active engagement in quality improvement initiatives and contribution to clinical governance for continuous improvement.
- Participation in on-call rosters to provide after-hours anaesthetic services when required.
- A 24-hour emergency anaesthesia service providing seamless care.
- Major surgery including colorectal, upper GI, liver, urology, breast-endocrine, gynaecology and major orthopaedics.
- Busy obstetric unit with over 3000 deliveries/year and a 24-hour epidural service ensuring comprehensive care.
- Other surgical specialties including paediatrics, ENT, plastics, ophthalmology, ECT, gastroenterology and bronchoscopy.
- 24-hour acute pain service with regular daily rounds ensuring timely management.
- Ongoing QI, audit, research and CME activities fostering growth and development.
