Veterinary Anaesthesia Specialist

We are seeking a veterinarian with expertise in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, teaching and mentoring students, and contributing to the research efforts of the School.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced anaesthesia services to clinicians in both the Companion Animal and Large Animal Hospitals
- Contribute to teaching in our programs through course coordination, lectures, tutorials, practicals and clinical rotations
- Participate in research activities and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- Specialist qualifications in Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (Australian Fellowship or Diplomat of American/European Colleges)
- Qualification in Veterinary Science acceptable for registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of South Australia
- Proven ability to contribute independently to a clinical service in veterinary anesthesia and analgesia
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of clinical and teaching teams
