Job Title: Medical Expert in Anaesthesia
The Department of Anaesthetics at Hawkesbury Hospital is seeking a skilled professional to fill this full-time equivalent position.
- The successful applicant will possess or be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Fellowship of the Australia New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or equivalent is required, as well as evidence of continuing medical education and self-monitoring/audit practices consistent with the scope of practice requirements of the position.
- A high level of clinical knowledge in Anaesthesia, demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position, including participation in quality assurance activities relevant to the specialty.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A demonstrated commitment to teaching and junior medical staff supervision, aligned with contemporary best practice supervision standards.
- Demonstrated skills and attitudes appropriate for practice as a Senior Medical /Dental Practitioner, including modelling of a high standard of professional behaviour to junior medical staff.
