Job Title

The role of Accounts Payable Specialist involves managing the entire accounts payable process, from validating charges to processing payment disbursements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform full-cycle accounts payable, including 3-way matching, reviewing invoices for proper documentation, and verifying GL coding.
  2. Process weekly payment disbursements, including check runs, vendor ACH, and wire payments.
  3. Manage month-end close processes around payables and accruals.
  4. Verify approvals on all vendor documentation and scan into electronic workflow.
  5. Oversee the vendor master file, adding new vendors, updating records, and performing related tasks.
  6. Provide ad-hoc analysis of expenses as needed and assist with supporting information requested in conjunction with audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounts payable.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • NetSuite experience is preferred but not necessary.
