We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring client work is completed in a timely manner, providing tax planning and advisory services, and assisting with staff training.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to play a key part in enabling our next phase of growth. You will collaborate with Partners and team members to achieve our goals, provide expert advice to clients, and contribute to the development of our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure client work is completed on time and to a high standard
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, including preparation and review of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns
  • Assist with staff training and development, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Lead and review the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
  • Liaise with statutory authorities on behalf of clients
  • Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
  • Expertise in accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
