Job Title: Aboriginal Housing Policy Lead
The position of Aboriginal Housing Policy Lead is a critical role within our organization, responsible for developing high-quality social policy to drive reform and improve outcomes for Aboriginal families, communities, and organizations.
Your Role:
In this challenging and rewarding career, you will play a key part in leading a team responsible for creating innovative solutions to address housing challenges. You will be responsible for undertaking research and analysis, leading policy teams and projects, as well as consultation and evidence-based planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing high-quality social policy that is impact-focused and evidence-based.
- Liaising with diverse stakeholders across government and the Aboriginal community to achieve effective policy development and implementation.
- Managing and delivering on high volumes of workloads, often with short deliverable timeframes.
Requirements:
- A proven track record in strategic Aboriginal housing policy development, including current knowledge of relevant legislation and policy settings in NSW.
- Strong negotiation and consultation skills, with experience working across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
