**The role**
In this role, you'll be a key contributor to developing and delivering impactful projects, including refining policies, procedures, and legislative reforms. Your work will involve managing project activities, ensuring timely and quality outcomes, and supporting decision-making with comprehensive documentation and stakeholder engagement. Through research and analysis, you'll identify emerging issues and recommend solutions to advance the organisation's goals.
Amid tight deadlines and competing priorities, you'll navigate challenges with sensitivity and effectiveness, especially in understanding the unique issues facing Aboriginal peoples and communities. Collaboration with stakeholders and maintaining clarity in policies will be central to driving meaningful outcomes in a dynamic environment.

**What you will bring to the role**:
- **Project Management**: Deliver project support services, including maintaining documentation, preparing reports, and coordinating resources, to ensure successful outcomes within scope, budget, and timelines.
- **Policy and Procedure Development**: Evaluate and refine operational policies and procedures to enhance clarity, efficiency, and alignment with statutory requirements.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Communicate with stakeholders, coordinate consultations, and facilitate collaboration to support policy development and legislative objectives.
- **Knowledge of the NSW Planning system**:Experience in planning and environmental legislation and processes such as strategic planning are desired but not essential.
