We are seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. This role focuses on project cost control management and financial reporting to support projects across the BDA Portfolio.

As a key member of our finance team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse daily challenges and exposure to the broader Boeing Enterprise.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level support to the finance team and collaborate with project and scheduling teams.
  • Analyze Cost and Schedule performance, communicate financial insights and project status to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets and forecasts in conjunction with cost account managers.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, comprehensive reports and dashboards to monitor project performance.
  • Ensure financial compliance and accuracy in collaboration with project teams.
  • Support the month end process with the required journals and reconciliations, including all required reporting.
  • Support estimating and pricing activities.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide training and mentoring of other staff within the team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in finance, business or commerce; or equivalent experience in the workforce.
  • Relevant experience in a project accounting, management accounting or cost control role.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including PowerPivot and dashboard management.
  • Ability to adapt to different situations, be proactive and organise priorities autonomously to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage financial aspects of diverse projects.
  • Experience in estimating and pricing of varying complexity.
  • Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM) and use of Earned Value Management Systems for project financial management.
