Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to become part of our diverse team at an early learning service.

Educating children in the nursery, you will embrace educational programs which focus on independence, play, discovery, and learning. You will have the ability to communicate daily with parents about the children's educational experiences.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for educating children aged 0-2 who actively embraces professional development and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing quality education and care to support children's learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework
  • Developing positive and respectful relationships that support children, their families, and community
  • Facilitating play-based learning environments responsive to children's interests, strengths, and abilities
  • Documenting children's learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Children Services (essential), with previous experience working at a Diploma Level in an early learning service
  • Experience in a leadership role (desirable)
  • A work history demonstrating recording observations, writing learning stories, and supporting curriculum planning using the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and community members
