Early Childhood Education Specialist Opportunity

This permanent opportunity can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis, typically between 8am – 5pm.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to become a part of our diverse and supportive team at an early learning service.

Educating children in the Nursery, you will embrace educational programs which focus on children's independence to play, discover, and learn. You will have the ability to communicate the children's educational experiences with parents daily.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework.
  • Develop positive and respectful relationships that support children, their families, and community.
  • Facilitate play-based learning environments that are responsive to children's interest, strengths, and abilities.
  • Document children's learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Diploma in Children Services (essential), with previous experience working at a Diploma Level in an early learning service.
  • Experience in a Room Leader role (desirable).
  • A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories, and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and community members.
