Project Overview

Our feet are the foundation of our mobility, yet the intricate structure and function of our feet remain poorly understood. This project aims to bridge this knowledge gap by investigating the interactions between foot morphology, neural control, and function. The successful candidate will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to develop innovative solutions for precision health and human performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research on foot biomechanics, leveraging advanced techniques and technologies.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement novel methods for measuring internal function.
  • Contribute to the development of personalized athletic footwear design.
Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree with first-class honours or a master's degree, with a significant research component in biomechanics, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, human movement science, kinesiology, or related fields. Essential skills include knowledge in rigid-multibody dynamics (OpenSim) and computer programming skills (MATLAB, Python, or C++).
