Job Overview

The role encompasses a pivotal leadership position, ensuring child safety standards are upheld across services. A team of dedicated investigators will be led and mentored to conduct thorough, procedurally fair, and trauma-informed investigations.

  • Lead and mentor a team in delivering high-quality investigations.
  • Oversee the allocation and progress of cases, including complex and historical ones.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to uphold legislative obligations and mandatory reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement in safeguarding practices and systems.
  • Act as an advisor on child safety matters across related entities.
About You
  • Extensive experience in leading investigations involving vulnerable children and young people.
  • A passion for child safety and a sound understanding of relevant child safety standards.
  • A keen eye for detail and identifying risk.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and report writing skills.
  • Leadership experience and enjoyment working collaboratively within a team.
  • A qualification in Social Work or a related field, and/or experience in a similar field.
  • A NDIS Screening Check.
