Role Summary:

The Unit Manager Engineering Design and Construction position plays a pivotal role in leading the design and construction of road and transport-related infrastructure.

This includes coordinating civil renewal programs and major works from concept planning to delivery, ensuring projects are planned, designed, and delivered to a high standard and in a cost-effective and timely manner.

The ideal candidate will provide leadership excellence in civil engineering, project management, and people management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in designing and constructing road and transport infrastructure
  • Coordinate civil renewal programs and major works
  • Ensure projects are delivered to a high standard and on time

Requirements:

  • Tertiary level qualification in civil engineering
  • Extensive experience in leading teams to deliver road and civil projects
  • Registration as an Engineer
  • Licensed to drive a passenger vehicle
