Job Title: Project Support Specialist

The role involves providing administrative and operational support to project management teams, ensuring projects align with defined governance models and lifecycle frameworks to deliver quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support a diverse range of technology projects by providing efficient and timely project and administrative support.
  • Provide record management processes, collate content for discussion papers, reports and correspondence, coordinate tasks, information and records management, financial management, and contract management.
  • Deliver project team member support by providing PMO services and expertise to ensure optimised business cases are delivered on time, to quality expectations, and within budget.
  • Ensure all project team members align to the agreed governance and lifecycle framework, continually improving processes as required.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Liaise with internal and external clients to achieve effective project outcomes, handling sensitive and/or classified information appropriately.
  • Support the management of collaborative and strategic relationships through effective working with internal and external stakeholders.
Framework & Governance Requirements:
  • Support the preparation of monthly reporting and coordination of governance forums, including project status, actions, decisions, financial expenditure, benefits, risks, and issues across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Design and embed document management discipline and hygiene in support of PMO governance frameworks and routines.
  • Provide support for governance and assurance across the program, ensuring regular performance checks against defined standards and policies.
