Job Title: Finance Business Partner, Health Sector

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Business Partner to join our team in the Health Sector. This role will be responsible for driving optimal financial decision-making, monitoring operational activities, and providing timely and accurate information to management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of complex environments, deep knowledge of the Victorian health system, and excellent leadership skills. They will be able to lead, sustain, and influence key relationships internally and externally, and recognised as a subject matter expert in financial business partnering.

The successful candidate will be part of a new finance and investment function that will promote appropriate, sustainable, and efficient financial investment across Victoria's health system. They will be responsible for:

  • Driving optimal financial decision-making through the provision of timely, accurate, and useful information to management.
  • Monitoring the impact of operational activities on financial performance and variance from budget with a focus on emerging trends and risks.
  • Deloivering regular forecasting based on trend analysis providing an independent, portfolio view.
  • Providing financial insight and advice to Executive to optimise financial performance.
