The Role
As Strategic Financial Partner, you will be embedded in the leadership team of a division.
You will deliver commercial insight, financial control, and forward-looking analysis that drives performance.
Lead divisional budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning cycles
Oversee month-end reporting with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and speed
Create and deliver performance packs to executive and finance leadership
Monitor project delivery, capex spend, and milestone outcomes
Support bid and tender processes with financial modelling and commercial review
Build data-led insights through dashboards and scenario analysis
Identify process gaps and champion continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
You're a commercially focused finance professional who thrives in fast-paced, operational settings.
You bring both technical depth and a strong business partnering mindset, and you're comfortable being both in the weeds and at the strategic table.
CA/CPA qualified
Proven track record in a similar commercial finance or senior business partnering role
Industry exposure in construction, civil, infrastructure, or industrial services preferred
Strong in financial reporting, budgeting, and decision-support analysis
Experienced working with senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes
Resilient and agile – capable of operating in environments undergoing change
Confident navigating legacy systems and working across functions
