As a key member of our General Insurance business, you will collaborate closely with Senior Underwriters to service new and existing business, leveraging your analytical skills and broad knowledge of our General Property product offering.

You will utilise your exceptional communication and organisational skills to achieve sales and retention targets while regularly interacting with brokers and customers.

  • Manage a portfolio of Commercial Property insurance risks according to company standards.
  • Evaluate risk exposures to determine terms, premiums, and conditions.
  • Collaborate with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders to develop tailored insurance solutions.
  • Contribute to portfolio profitability through sound underwriting judgment and pricing discipline.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Providing technical expertise, mentoring, and support to junior underwriters.
  • Maintaining compliance with local regulatory and global requirements.
  • Contributing to product development and enhancement initiatives in the Property space.

Key to your success includes multiple years of Property underwriting experience, tertiary qualifications in insurance or a related field, and proven ability to analyse and assess risk across various industry sectors.
