We are seeking a talented underwriter to join our team in a key role. As a critical member of our underwriting team, you will play a pivotal part in assessing insurance risks and determining acceptance terms for new clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your underwriting skills while working with a leading insurer that prioritises digital innovation and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have the ability to interpret plans of subdivision and strata plans, negotiate with clients, and drive sales growth through strategic collaboration and business acumen.

You will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating and underwriting strata risk
  • Managing underwriting platforms and general underwriting queries
  • Developing new business opportunities
  • Liaising with the Claims and Underwriting teams to ensure service standards are met
  • Creating and maintaining reporting frameworks to track business performance

Additional requirements include comprehensive product knowledge in the strata space, negotiation and influencing skills, and a results-oriented mindset with a focus on sales and growth.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Strata Titled property and hands-on experience as an Underwriter in this area.
