**About the role**

We have an exciting new 9-month opportunity for a Manager Risk Insurance role to join our Risk insurance team.

The main objective of this Line 2 role is to facilitate and oversee the creation, execution, and upkeep of all Group RACQ and RACQI Risk policies and procedures in strong cooperation with the Line 1 Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

- Developing policy, process and systems for the conduct of risk advisory and assurance.
- Driving continuous improvement of risk decision making, reporting and monitoring.
- Providing leadership and training to ensure effect implementation of Risk policies and
- governance directives.
- Understand Member insights and feedback. Lead delivery on the strategy and plan that puts the best interest of our members at the heart of everything we do.
- Review processes, controls, monitoring and assurance arrangements, challenge as necessary and escalate and report on issues as necessary.
- Engage internal stakeholders as required to drive the cross functional implementation of the Risk Management Framework including risk policies and procedures.

**About You**
- University Degree in a related field (e.g., Business management, Law)
- Mandatory
- 7-10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience within a compliance, risk or audit management role acquired in a complex, matrixed financial services organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in assessing the level of risk and in developing and executing plans to mitigate risk.
- Highly developed analytical skills, demonstrating the capability to analyse and interpret complex information from a broad range of sources (locally and internationally) and to
- Present findings in a clear and compelling manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence, positively influencing risk behaviours throughout RACQ.
