Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Role
This role supports the development and implementation of effective occupational health and safety management systems within a dynamic business environment.
- Collaborate with safety advisors to monitor and maintain high standards of workplace safety.
- Assist in reviewing and endorsing risk assessments, as well as performing thorough evaluations of safety protocols.
- Coordinate onboarding processes for employees and contractors, ensuring seamless integration into the team.
- Participate in incident investigations and provide critical support during report writing and delivery of toolbox meetings.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with contractor training, competency, and license requirements.
Key Qualifications:
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cohesive team.
- Capacity to produce clear, concise reports under tight deadlines.
