About the Role
The Operations Manager is a key leadership position at Selina locations, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property. This includes managing all aspects of the hotel, from front-of-house to back-of-house, as well as co-working spaces and local experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all staff members at the location, ensuring that they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality.
- Oversee the financial performance of the location, including managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and controlling costs.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Collaborate with the global product team to ensure that all products and services meet Selina's high standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Manage the location's marketing and sales efforts, including developing and implementing local marketing plans and managing sales teams.
- Provide exceptional leadership and guidance to the location team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in hotel operations or a related field.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, guests, and partners.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, improving customer satisfaction, and enhancing the overall guest experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
