About the Role

The Operations Manager is a key leadership position at Selina locations, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property. This includes managing all aspects of the hotel, from front-of-house to back-of-house, as well as co-working spaces and local experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage all staff at the location, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and co-working staff.
  • Oversee the financial performance of the location, including revenue management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, as well as Selina's internal policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the global product team to ensure that all products and services meet Selina's high standards.
  • Manage the location's marketing and sales efforts, including developing and implementing local marketing plans.
  • Ensure that all staff receive regular training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage the location's human resources, including recruitment, selection, and performance management.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the location's operations are running smoothly and efficiently, including maintenance, housekeeping, and food and beverage services.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a hotel operations or management role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, guests, and stakeholders.
  • Strong financial management skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
