As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring seamless delivery of exceptional guest experiences and driving business results.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Excellence: Coach and develop a high-performing team, overseeing all aspects of hotel operations to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Financial Management: Drive results through day-to-day profitability, presentation, and operation of the entire property.
- Communication and Consistency: Communicate all standards, policies, procedures, rates, packages, and hotel information, and proactively monitor for consistency.
- Strategic Decision Making: Stay on top of systems and procedures, payments, the PMS reservation system, and make strategic decisions relating to increasing RevPAR and analyzing data as required.
- Leadership and Team Management: Manage a 7-day operation over 24 hours, with varied rosters covering day/night/weekend shifts, including public holidays.
- Operational and Financial Experience: Possess operational and financial management experience within a hotel environment.
- Market Understanding: Have a strong understanding of market segments and how they contribute to the hotel's success.
- Leadership and Development: Proven record of leadership and development within direct reports.
- Product and Service Standards: Proven track record of maintaining excellent product and service standards while maximizing revenue and minimizing expenses.
- Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with guests, owners, and staff.
- Leadership Skills: Hands-on leadership skills that inspire and support the team, particularly during peak periods.
- Team Player: Team player with a great personality and a passion for delivering exceptional service with a boutique vibe.
- Revenue Focus: Get a kick out of hitting revenue targets and firing up the team to stay alert to selling opportunities.
