Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
  2. Support the Restaurant Manager in strategic planning and decision making.
  3. Ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and safety are maintained.
  4. Provide excellent customer service and handle any customer complaints or feedback.
  5. Assist with financial management tasks such as cash handling and reporting.
  6. Lead and mentor the front-of-house team, providing coaching and development opportunities.
  7. Implement and monitor policies and procedures to drive operational efficiency.
  8. Liaise with the kitchen regarding menus, events, daily run-sheets, and service.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in a high volume setting as a Supervisor or Manager of a restaurant.
  • Great customer service skills and temperament.
  • Ability to work with, mentor and develop a large team.
  • Comfortable setting priorities and assigning tasks as required.
  • Strong communication skills, magnetic personality, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Solid financial acumen and desire to exceed expectations.
  • Genuine desire to work as a team to provide all guests with a great experience.
  • Great understanding of food, wines, cocktails, and spirits.
  • Experience managing functions is preferred but not essential.
